I have been told the correct spelling of the town where Garabed was sent by Hunchak is Sis. It is not called Sis now as I suspected. The new name is Kozan. It is in the South of Turkey and will not be hard for me to visit.

- I am an Australian who is lucky enough to be able to trace my own family tree by records and documents back to early 1700. I am aware Lisa, my partner cannot, and I wish to assist wherever I can, to fill in the missing pieces to the family story and make it as complete as possible. I have been very lucky to be welcomed into the strong family bonds of not only the immediate Izmirian family group but of those I have not yet meet. I am excited about this upcoming trip and where it will take me.
