Shave Syrian Style

I had a shave Syrian style whilst in Aleppo. I got there at 10.00 just as he was opening and was the first customer. There are very few Barbers in the street compared with Turkey. The Syria also was missing the flare and enthusiasm displayed by the Turks. It was more in a Hairdresser than a Barbers shop. Had the shave which was uneventful and it did not come with the flame flicking Kabab Stick. What was amusing was the application of the lotion. The hairdryer was turned on full blast and pointed at my face, blasting me with air. With the other hand he pumped lotion into the hairdryers draft which sprayed it all over my face.
